Hoy en día es casi imposible pensar en una fiesta infantil en la que no haya dulces y piñatas. No se diga el salir de un restaurante sin una pastilla o chicle para refrescar el aliento. Tampoco olvidemos la nueva tradición de la mesa de dulces y botanas en eventos elegantes como bodas o XV años. 

El mercado de los dulces incluso este ligado a tradiciones culturales que alientan el comercio. Por ello, ha sido bien recibida la dulcería de la calle 24, en el Sur Omaha, llamada: Arcoíris.

Comenzó el mes de junio del 2018 y desde su apertura se admiran sus coloridos aparadores, repletos de piñatas multicolores con variadas formas, que permiten complacer a cualquiera. Su dueña, Janay Ramos, está convencida que la mejor decisión que ha tomado ha sido abrir su dulcería. “Yo trabajé para otros negocios y este es el primero en el que invierto, porque en lugar de trabajar para alguien más, es mejor hacerlo para mí y para ayudar a mi familia…”

Sin embargo, aunque la venta de dulces es una buena opción de comercio, hay muchos elementos que entran en juego a la hora de emprender un negocio y que el hecho de no considerarlos puede determinar el éxito o el fracaso.

En este sentido, Janay mencionó: “Hace cuatro años comencé a tomar clases de micro negocios, sin pensar que hoy tendría la dulcería, porque yo creo que uno debe tomar las oportunidades que se van poniendo en el camino. Entonces, no he dejado de buscar ayuda educativa para saber cómo manejar bien mi negocio y que pueda ser más estable. 

“Por ahora, vendemos dulces, sobre todo de origen mexicano, y piñatas. Próximamente tendremos bolsas de bolos, mantelería y todo lo que se usa para su fiesta”, agregó Janay.

Micro negocios, como la dulcería Arcoíris, constituyen un agente potencial del desarrollo local y un medio para mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad donde se ubiquen.

Por ello, Janay Ramos es hoy una joven comerciante que trabaja para conseguir el éxito empresarial y por consiguiente el crecimiento del Sur de la ciudad, donde se ubica esta confitería que alegra y endulza la vida de sus clientes y amigos, quienes hoy le presagian un maravilloso porvenir. En hora buena.

Dulcería Arcoíris

Nowadays, it is almost impossible to think of a children’s party in which there are no sweets and piñatas. You wouldn’t think about walking out of a restaurant without a means or gum to freshen your breath. The business started operation in June of 2018, and since its opening, its colorful sideboards are admired, full of multicolored piñatas with varied shapes, which allow you to please anyone. Its owner, Janay Ramos, is convinced that the best decision she has made has been to open her candy store. “I worked for other businesses and this is the first one I invested in, because instead of working for someone else, it’s better to do it for myself and to help my family…”

However, although the sale of sweets is a good trading option, there are many elements that come into play when starting a business and the fact of not considering them can determine success or failure.

In this sense, Janay said: “Four years ago, I started taking micro business classes, without thinking that today I would have the candy store.  Because I believe that one should take the opportunities that are put in front of you. So, I have not stopped looking for educational help to learn how to manage my business well and make it more stable. 

“For now, we sell sweets, especially of Mexican origin, and piñatas. Soon we will have bowling bags, linens and everything that is needed for your party, “added Janay.

Micro businesses, such as the Rainbow candy store, are a potential agent of local development and a means to improve the quality of life of the community where they are located.

For this reason, Janay Ramos is today a young merchant.  She works to achieve business success and therefore become part of the growth of South Omaha. The place where her confectionery is located brightens and sweetens the lives of its customers and friends, who today believe in a wonderful future and good times.
